This option allows the user to select from available and allowable mobile network connections. For example, the user may have the choice for connecting to Vodafone either via a 2G or 3G connection.
When selected a search is made of current detectable networks – this may take several minutes
The user is presented with the name of the operator, type of connection available and Status (i.e. Available, Current, Not Allowed) from which the user can select and using the “select” button make their choice – when the status will become “Current”.
