You can import a comma separate format text file into your address book. The file must be in the format: “number”, “name” followed by a carriage return and line feed.
You can also import from your phone’s SIM card if the phone supports this capability. For phones that support multiple phone numbers for one name (for example mobile and work), these entries will typically be indicated as “name\M” or “name\W”. This notation may vary from phone to phone
In both cases an item will not be imported if it already exists in the address book.
On completion of an import you will get a confirmation message showing how many items were imported.
